PURPOSE OF POSITION
Develop and implement the Pizza Hut marketing strategies and marketing calendar with specific responsibility for delivering approved sales and profit targets.
DIMENSION OF POSITION
System: Position has direct impact upon Pizza Hut MEP sales Total Stores: Currently 492 Restaurants Organizations Supported:
Pizza Hut Marketing team, Franchisee and Marketing Vendors in the region
Organizations: Pizza Hut MEP (Middle East & Pakistan) Position requires ~ 30% planned travel
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Achieve Same Store Sales targets by uncovering consumer insight, accelerate development of major NPD initiatives and execution of the 24 month BYA calendar and achieving full alignment with Franchisee partner.
Lead, develop and manage an accelerated NPD pipeline to achieve business growth and brand health objectives.
Plan and execute test markets/Ops shakedowns to prove potential of NPD initiatives and ensure executional excellence.
Identify opportunities to grow brand through new CUOs and value propositions to drive increased ticket value and/or number of transactions
Business partners markets supporting and influencing their plans to ensure marketing calendar and activities serves our joint growth objectives
Partnering FIT team in developing a food pipeline for the future that is on strategy, centered around customer needs and emerging trends
Responsible for ensuring Pizza Hut menu and pricing architecture is cohesive and rooted in sound consumer insights
Responsible for development and execution of Pizza Hut Delivery related programs and windows
Responsible for development, implementation and analysis of marketing strategies, budgets, programmes, new product development and calendar management.
Support development of advertising, merchandising and promotions expenditure to ensure budget compliance in partnership with franchisee
Responsible for designated advertising programmes including liaison with Advertising Agency and monitoring of all aspects of programme (proofs, artwork, etc) in partnership with franchisee
Development, implementation and analysis of marketing programmes across high end meals.
Consult and liaise with field operations (and other Departments) to enable effective execution and maximisation of marketing/sales programs. Manage marketing support for field activities designed to achieve sales and profit objectives.
Manage and co-ordinate associated product development activities, making specific recommendations on new products, line extensions, packaging changes, etc.
Manage and approve all associated advertising and sales promotion activities and material in partnership with franchisee.
Manage and approve all associated market research projects and maintain an overall research program that encompasses advertising research, market potential, consumer attitudes, competitor information, etc., in line with MRD guidelines in partnership with franchisee and Consumer Insight Manager.
Provide input to strategic planning process, periodic review and update of strategic plans.
Attend Pizza Hut Marketing Meetings providing timely leadership and advice on marketing, sales and public relations activities.
Ensure that all marketing activities comply with local legislative requirements, eg., trademark protection, trade practices, etc.
Undertake designated research projects.
