​Charterhouse are presently in the process of managing a search, for one of our international services clients, whom are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.

About the role
This Accountant shall act as the sole representative, within the regional hub, and they shall take ownership across the full cycle of financial accounting whilst also being focused across areas of business support, payroll, expense monitoring and processing.

In conjunction, the Financial Accountant will also deliver all areas of Tax accounting and VAT filing for returns, along with the management of all accounts payable and receivables functions within the regional office. Across the financial operation, the Senior Accountant shall also take ownership of budget and planning cycles in the support of business objectives and group forecasting policy.

As a final point, this Accountant shall also be required to manage areas of internal compliance, linking to both internal and external audit process and any local governance, which is overseen-by and reported-to various office hubs internationally.

About you
The client will look to recruit either a part-qualified or qualified Accountant whom is able to deliver a minimum of three years of experience, across services-based environment and/or organisation, within the UAE market. The role requires a candidate whom is able to also demonstrate a track record within a broad ranging and multi-tasking job role; where they have delivered a diverse set of responsibilities whilst handling senior and internationally-based reporting lines.

The successful candidate shall possess strong and decisive communication and presentation skill, acting as a business partner, along with technically astute experience and a demonstrable hands-on track record.

The ability to work with tight and strict deadlines shall be critical and the role will also demand advanced Excel capabilities; to develop reporting tools, any accounting policy and business commentaries in support of both operational and commercial objectives.
